Combate Americas received an Honorable Mention Award last week at the 2018 CableFAX Program & Trailer Awards, honoring the Combate Americas creative team for the show open produced for the inaugural “COPA COMBATE” live television event in November 2017.

Combate Americas’ creative team, which is now La Jaula Studios, was a finalist for “Best Opening Sequence” in competition with National Geographic and Nickelodeon.

La Jaula Studios is led by Stan Jakubowicz, Chief Content Officer of Combate Americas, and is a multi-platform studio that was created to tell the bold, untold stories of the athletes of Combate Americas.

The upcoming, annual “COPA COMBATE” extravaganza will air live on Friday, Dec. 7 on DAZN in English and on Univision and Univision Deportes Network (UDN) in Spanish from Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif.

The 2018 CableFAX Program & Trailer Awards celebrates the industry’s best shows running on screens around the world, the best actors and actresses that make fans tune in on all screens, and the best promos and sizzle reels that entice viewers to watch.
