We are just two weeks away from witnessing a historic event at  Combate Americas, where some of the fiercest women in MMA will enter “La Jaula” on an action packed card. Combate Reinas will take place April 26th at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, California.

Combate Reinas will air in Spanish in the U.S. on Univision (12 a.m. ET/PT) and UDN (12 a.m. ET/9 p.m. PT), and in English in the U.S. and Canada on DAZN (10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT). The event will feature women fighters from different weights, ages and countries battling to be named “Reinas del Combate.

Melissa”Super Mely” Martinez
(5-0)

A Mexican-born fighter, Martinez is currently undefeated as a professional with four knockouts, including a head kick KO in her Combate Americas’ debut. In 2017, she won silver in the Muay Thai European championship.

Caroline”Taz”Gallardo
(3-2)

Caroline gallardo

22 year-old Gallardo was born in Santiago, Chile. She’s on a three-fight winning streak, all finishes, including two first round finishes. Her total fight time in her last three bouts is 3:21, thanks to her finishing ability.

Kyra”Mogwai” Batara
(7-4)

Batara, a former Eddie Bravo student, from Vancouver, Washington, is a Brazilian Jiu-jitsu specialist. She is taking the atomweight division by storm. Currently, she has a two-fight winning streak and hasn’t lost a single fight inside “La Jaula”.

Francis “Hitgirl” Hernandez
(3-3)

Originally from Camuy, Puerto Rico, this 30 year old fighter has a black belt in Taekowndo. Hernandez won her Combate Americas’ debut against Shyann Farmer via submission. She’s also an active Sergeant in the national guard.

Gloria “Gloriosa” Bravo
(4-4)

Bravo has a Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu background, with four wins, three of them in the last two years (2015-2016). Almost all of her victories have been by first round submissions, demonstrating how good her skills are on the mat (She has a Purple Belt in Brasilian Jiu-jitsu ). She lost her debut in the promotion and now is trying to find her way back to the win column.

Paulina “Firefox” Granados

A Texas’ native, the Alliance MMA fighter will have her third bout inside “La Jaula“. Granados won her Combate Americas debut in 2016 against Stephanie Alba by split decision. She won her second fight with Combate Americas, before Kyra Batara was able to stop her winning streak in 2017. She is looking to resume her path to victory in Combate Reinas.

Yazmin Jauregui
(1-0)

Representing Tijuana, Mexico, the Entram Gym fighter holds a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.  Jauregui received a first round TKO victory in her professional debut. She is a very well-rounded fighter with a lot of potential.

Daniela Espinosa
(0-0)

Born in Mission Viejo, California, Espinosa will make her professional debut in Combate Reinas. As an amateur, she holds a 1-1 record where her only victory was a first round submission win.
