Combate Americas arrived in Chicago, Illinois, for the first time with an explosive Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) card.

The event on Friday, September 6th saw four fights ending by (T)KO or Submission (three by submission, and one by (T)KO) and aired live in the United States in Spanish language on both Univision and TUDN.

Daniel Argueta (3-0; 2-0 CA) obtained his second consecutive win in the promotion, after defeating Ronny Mendez (0-1) via submission (Rear Naked Choke). Argueta’s first victory in Combate Americas on August 2 was secured by the same method.

Also, Criszaida Adames (1-0) defeated rising star Marisol Ruelas (1-2; 1-1 CA) by technical knockout, after hitting her opponent with strong knee strikes in the middle zone.
