Combate Americas made its debut in Dallas, Texas, with nine fights at the Curtis Culwell Center.

In the main event, Gilbert Urbina (6-1), a member of the renowned JacksonWink MMA gym, won via unanimous decision after dominating Angelo Treviño (7-4) of Team Alpha Male for three rounds .

The Zacatecas native Abril Anguiano (3-0) had a great performance in the co-main event, where she defeated Paola Ramírez (1-3) by Split Decision. Anguiano scored her third consecutive win as a professional, two of them coming by way of first round knockout.

John Tao Pham (1-0) victory over Charles Spoolstra (1-1-1) by unanimous decision had everyone jumping out of their seats. Pham’s fantastic professional debut included an amazing striking display.
