Miami, FL-The battle between Mexico and the United States continues inside la jaula as the undefeated American Levi Escobar (2-0) of Tucson, Arizona will battle Daniel Sanchez (2-1) of Mexico City, Mexico in the main evet for CG2021 October 29 in what is expected to be a treat for fight fans.

CG2021 October 29 airs live on Paramount Plus starting at 10:30 PM ET (English) and Univision at midnight ET (Spanish).

Also, the night will feature a co main event between veteran Erick Perry” Montano (8-6) of Mexico City against Mark “Showtime” Martin (6-1) of Phoenix, Arizona.

But leading off the main card is a bantamweight clash at 135 pounds between unbeaten Ismael “Kraken” Zamora (1-0) taking on Saul Tijerina Estrada (Debut).

Escobar vs Sanchez

Escobar practically was born to fight. His father opened the first jiu jitsu school, DeBrazil, in Tucson, Arizona and he is not afraid to show it as both of his professional victories have come by way of submission with his recent win coming in August.

However, most recently, he has moved to California to train with Team Oyama who is ran by Colin Oyama who trained hall of fame fighters like Quinton Jackson and Tito Ortiz.

Meanwhile, his opponent Sanchez is ready to step up and take on Escobar’s challenges. Experienced in wrestling and jiu jitsu, he is confident that he has what it takes to defend any potential takedowns as he is more than prepared.

For the win, Sanchez should play the distance preventing Escobar from shooting for the takedown, while Escobar should wear Sanchez down and find the opening to shoot and search for the submission.

Montano vs Martin

A veteran of the sport, Montano returns to action since his last victorious fight in September 2019. A winner of The Ultimate Fighter reality show, Montano has competed against notable names like Max Griffin and Randy Brown. But he meets a powerful wrestler in Martin, who holds three victories by way of submission and three wins by way of decision.

Although Montano will showcase his hands, Marting won’t be afraid to retaliate as he trains with the likes of Benson Henderson and others at the MMA Lab.

If not complacent, Martin could take the fight to the canvass where he will have the edge as he has several accolades as a collegiate wrestler.

But Montano’s experience has helped him build his takedown defense. This could be the classic battle of a wrestler vs stand up fighter, but if the fight stays standing this battle could deliver a war.

 Estrada vs Zamora

Estrada has been training for about seven years and will make his professional debut on a large stage like Combate Global, but his excitement will be put to the test as he faces Ismael Zamora who plans on staying undefeated.

Zamora, who trains with the Bonebreakers, made his debut inside la jaula back in July. He won by ground and pound. Although it is Estrada’s first time entering la jaula, Zamora can’t underestimate him.

Expect Estrada, who competed in an amateur bout in 2018, to come in strong with heavy hands. As for Zamora, expect him to go to the ground and work his jiu jitsu game.
