Combate Americas, in association with Tuff-N-Uff, arrives in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, for its much-anticipated world championship doubleheader event on Friday, Aug. 23. Today, the competitors had to beat the scale.

The Combate Tahoe event is tomorrow night at Harveys, Lake Tahoe, Nev., and the weigh-ins were held this evening (August 22nd).

All the fighters made weight without any issues, including the Bantamweight champion Gustavo Lopez (135.0). He came in under the established weight of 135 pounds for his first title defense bout against Joey “El Cazador” Ruquet (134.1), who also made weight.

Andres “The Bullet” Quintana (144.8) and Bruno “Aquiles” Cannetti (144.9) will be facing each other in the co-main event; both came under the set weight for their World Featherweight Championship bout (145 lbs).

Combate Tahoe will air live on television in the U.S. in Spanish, on both Univision (12 a.m. ET/PT) and UDN (12 a.m. ET/9 p.m. PT), and live in the U.S. and Canada in English on DAZN (10:30 p.m. ET / 7:30 p.m. PT).
